Proud breeder of registered Tennessee Walking Horses.

The main house of Sanders Creek Farms, a beautiful pre-Civil War homestead.
Sanders Creek Farms are located in the lazy, little farming community of Petersburg, in the foothills of the Cumberland
Mountains of lower Middle Tennessee, home of the Petersburg Colt Show of the early 20th century and area of origin of the
Tennessee Walking Horse. Petersburg is a town of about 500 people located about 65 miles south of Nashville and within 20
miles of Fayetteville, Lewisburg, Shelbyville and Lynchburg, right in the heart of Walking Horse country.
We are proud of our Tennessee Walking Horse brood mares from top blood
lines, including daughters of World Grand Champions such as: Pride's Jubilee Star, Pride's Secret Threat, Ace's Sensation, and
Ebony's Senator. Many are granddaughters of Pride's Generator,
Sun's Delight, Triple Threat, and Ebony Masterpiece. We breed to
flat shod pleasure Tennessee Walking Horse stallions in our area to produce plantation pleasure colts and fillies for the future
"rides of your
life". We are dedicated to smooth gaited, head shaking, gentle, people
loving, riding horses for trail, hunting, flat shod showring and "hours in
the saddle" pleasure, not the "big lick"
show horse. We always have a great selection of yearling and weanling colts and fillies
for sale and all are or will be registered and blood typed by the TWHBEA.
When in our area, feel free to stop by and talk
"horses", check out our current stock, and sip lemonade in the
shade of the big Pecan trees.
