Q. How will I enter data for HASS HOUSE to calculate?
A. You can enter data directly on the screen as well as call up stored data for approved sprinklers, piping, tubing and fittings (to make several entries with one keystroke). Also, equivalent K Factors compensate for armovers and drops. These features both speed up data entry and assure greater accuracy.
Q. Will I need to use NFPA 13D to look up fitting equivalent lengths?
A. No. The program looks up this data for you using built-in tables. You can enter the number of fittings for a run of pipe as well as the nominal diameter of the pipe, as well as add new tables when you need them.
Q. How will I include a pump, meter, or backflow preventer?
A. By showing the pressure change for the device along with other data for the run of pipe.
